EBSynth Texturing Project

 

        This post details a process I developed using a program called EBSynth to apply artificially created hand-drawn textures to a 3D model.

    The process:

        A model is created in Maya, with two skins in the style of Fig 1 and 2. Fig 1 provides information on where different textures should be placed. Fig 2 provides lighting information for those textures.

        Fig 3 and 4 provide info for EBSynth to apply the hand-drawn textures from Fig 5 on to the model, in the correct areas, with correct lighting information.

        Fig 6 is the final result of this process.
